Prince Philippos and Princess Nina welcome first child via surrogate

Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark and his wife, Princess Nina, have announced the birth of their first child, a son named Kimon Thomas Konstantinos. The baby was born on July 27, 2026, in the United States via a gestational carrier.

The announcement, released by the Private Office of the Greek Royal Family, included expressions of gratitude toward the surrogate mother, her family, and the medical professionals involved in the process.

The child's names serve as tributes to his grandfathers: Thomas, after Nina’s father Thomas Flohr, and Konstantinos, in honor of Philippos’ late father, King Constantine II of Greece. Prince Philippos is the youngest son of the late King and Queen Anne-Marie of Denmark.
