TCL and Philips launch advanced Mini LED and QLED television series

The consumer television market is seeing significant technological advancements in display and audio integration. TCL has introduced its C10M series, featuring a ultra-slim 3.99 cm design intended to mimic wallpaper. These models utilize SQD-Mini LED technology, high peak brightness of 3600 nits, and integrate AI capabilities via the DeepSeek model and TSR AI chips. The series also features audio systems developed with Onkyo.

In the large-screen segment, TCL’s C7L series is expanding into markets like the Philippines, offering 55 to 85-inch displays with 144Hz refresh rates and Bang & Olufsen audio. The 98-inch C7L model highlights the trend toward massive, high-performance displays with up to 3,000 nits of brightness.

Philips is also advancing its lineup with the 7985 Series, which incorporates Quantum Dot technology into its Ambilight models. This addition aims to enhance color accuracy and immersion by projecting light that matches on-screen action. Other manufacturers like LG continue to see success in the OLED market, with models like the C5 offering high-end gaming features and deep contrast levels at competitive price points.
