Philips announces new OLED TV models with Dolby Vision 2 Max

Philips has announced new flagship and mid-range OLED television models, including the high-end OLED+951 and the 83-inch 83OLED811/12. The OLED+951 features a Tandem OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, four-sided Ambilight, and the P5 AI Dual Engine video processor. It is among the first OLED TVs to support the Dolby Vision 2 Max HDR standard.

The 83-inch 83OLED811/12 serves as a mid-range option, utilizing three-sided Ambilight and the Titan OS operating system. While it lacks the Tandem OLED panel of the flagship, it supports a 120Hz refresh rate (up to 165Hz in VRR mode) and includes four HDMI 2.1 ports. This model also supports Dolby Vision 2 Max, Matter, and Control4 smart home standards. The 83-inch model is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2027.
