Philips Hue raises prices for Bridge Pro hub globally

Philips Hue has implemented significant price increases for its Bridge Pro smart home hub and several other products globally. In Europe, the manufacturer's suggested retail price for the Bridge Pro has risen from €89.99 to €149.99, representing a 66 percent increase in less than a year. In the United States, the price has climbed from $99 to $139, a hike of approximately 40 percent.

The Bridge Pro, which features 8GB of RAM and a faster processor compared to the standard model, is considered a necessary component for upcoming software features. Beyond the hub, other European products, such as the Hue Essential bulb 4-pack, have seen price increases ranging between €10 and €20. While some retailers like Amazon have not yet fully updated their listings to reflect the new higher prices, the increases appear to be active across official brand shops.
