Philips launches Airfryer 5000 Series in Malaysia

Philips Domestic Appliances has launched the Airfryer 5000 Series in Malaysia, introducing a multi-functional appliance that combines Steam, Airfry, and SteamFry capabilities. Utilizing RapidAir™ technology, the device is designed to produce food that is crispy on the exterior while remaining moist on the inside.

The 5000 Series features a 7.2L capacity and includes a Steam Wash self-cleansing function intended to loosen grease for easier cleanup. While the appliance offers quiet operation and a PFAS-free stainless steel basket, some limitations were noted, such as an icon-only interface and the requirement of a separately sold baking tray to access the full range of steam functions. The product is priced at approximately RM1099.
