Philips launches new digital signage display and 34‑inch UWQHD monitor in Germany
Philips introduced its FLASH.movie 4050Q series, a digital‑signage solution that runs on an integrated Android 10 SoC and does not require an external media player. The panels deliver 500 cd/m² brightness, a 25 % anti‑glare coating and a fail‑over function that automatically switches inputs if the signal is lost. They can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation and are compatible with Philips Wave for remote management. The series is offered in a range of sizes from 31.5 inches (80 cm) up to 85.6 inches (218 cm).
Alongside the signage line, Philips released the 34B2N3500C monitor in Germany. It features a 34‑inch VA panel with UWQHD resolution (3440 × 1440), up to 120 Hz refresh rate, 10‑bit colour depth covering 120 % of the sRGB gamut, and 350 cd/m² brightness. The monitor includes two 5‑W speakers, Adaptive Sync, HDR10 support, and a USB‑C port with 15 W Power Delivery. It comes with a five‑year product guarantee and is priced at roughly €298.
