Philips launches power bank exchange program and new semi-solid state model
Philips has launched the ‘365 Value Exchange Program’ for its power banks, starting October 1. The initiative aims to encourage consumers to replace aging batteries before they fail or swell, reducing risks associated with battery degradation.
In addition to the existing 1+1 year warranty, participants who register their products via a QR code from authorized channels will receive periodic discount coupons. For the first year, users can receive up to a 55% discount on new purchases, effectively allowing them to trade in old units for approximately 45% of the original product value.
Alongside this program, Philips introduced the GoodCube Air, a semi-solid state power bank. The device weighs 180 grams, supports up to 22.5W fast charging, and can charge up to four devices simultaneously. It features built-in Type-C and Lightning cables and has passed both Taiwan’s BSMI and China’s CCC certifications.
