Philips unveils 2026 Ambilight TV lineup and new Hue lighting products

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Philips unveiled its 2026 Ambilight TV lineup, featuring six premium series including OLED, OLED+, RGB Mini-LED, and QLED models with sizes up to 100 inches. The new lineup utilizes the 10th generation P5 AI image processing engine and introduces AmbiScape, which allows Ambilight to extend to up to four compatible smart lamps from various brands.

The flagship OLED+951 model features a META 4.0 Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 WOLED panel with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and supports refresh rates up to 165 Hz. Other models include the OLED+911, which features an 81-watt 3.1-channel audio system by Bowers & Wilkins, and mid-range options like the OLED811 and OLED761.

In the smart lighting sector, Philips Hue announced several expansions, including a more affordable HDMI Sync Box 4K priced at 150 euros and a 120-euro Screen Sync solution that uses a fisheye lens to analyze screens without requiring an HDMI connection. Additionally, a new Wall Light Module will allow Philips Hue to integrate with Nanoleaf panels within the Hue app, and the company introduced the Hue Liane, a flexible light bar designed for versatile placement around furniture and walls.
