Philocoffea barista Manami Nagasaki wins Japan Brewers Cup

Manami Nagasaki, a barista from Philocoffea, has been crowned the champion of the 2026 Japan Brewers Cup (JBrC). Held at Tokyo Big Sight, the competition tests manual extraction techniques and presentation skills. By winning, Nagasaki has earned the right to represent Japan at the World Brewers Cup in Colombia, scheduled for late September 2027.

In conjunction with recent achievements, Philocoffea CEO and 2016 World Brewers Cup champion Tetsu Kasuya will participate in Ralph Lauren’s ‘PoloFest’ in Harajuku, Tokyo, from October 23 to 25, 2026. To celebrate Ralph Lauren’s 50th anniversary in Japan, Kasuya has developed two original coffee blends, ‘OMOTESANDO ESPRESSO’ and ‘TOKYO ROAST,’ which will be available at the event and subsequently at Ralph’s Coffee locations.
