Philosophical perspectives on God and the afterlife
American Christopher Langan, noted for his high intelligence scores and his Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe (CTMU), has shared his metaphysical views on God and existence after death. Langan expresses belief in God, defining the concept through his CTMU framework, which links God to the very nature and source of reality rather than a being existing above it.
Regarding death, Langan suggests that the end of physical life does not necessarily mean the end of existence. He posits that consciousness may return to the source of reality and continue in a different form, potentially involving a different type of body.
Other spiritual traditions, such as those found in the Tibetan and Egyptian Books of the Dead, also offer detailed descriptions of the journey after death. These traditions often view death as a transition where consciousness navigates an intermediate state, facing fears and attachments.
