Philosophy Café to open in Karlsruhe-Durlach

The Philosophy Café is set to open on September 1 in Karlsruhe-Durlach. Located on Zur Gießerei street, the establishment offers a dual concept: serving coffee accompanied by daily rotating philosophical quotes during the day, and transitioning into an Aperitivo-Bar in the evenings. The evening service will feature Mediterranean-style snacks, mezze, and wine.

Operator Daniel Jeftic, who previously ran a marketing firm in Karlsruhe for 23 years, is launching the venture alongside business partner Marko Kronja. The duo intends to develop the Philosophy Café into a franchise model, with plans to expand to locations in Heidelberg and Mannheim. Additionally, they are developing a mobile app to support a future ‘Philosophy-Café-Community’.
