Phison Electronics allocates NT$100 million for employee travel and bonuses
Phison Electronics, a major flash memory controller manufacturer, has announced a NT$100 million employee welfare package following significant financial growth driven by AI-related storage demand. The initiative includes a NT$100 million fund to encourage employees and their families to travel within Taiwan, alongside an additional month of bonus pay.
The company reported a massive surge in performance, with first-half revenue reaching NT$108.855 billion, a 243% year-on-year increase, and net profit jumping over 20 times compared to the same period last year. In response to these record-breaking results, founder and CEO Pan Jian-cheng stated that the company aims to share its success with its employees.
The travel program will benefit at least 8,000 employees and their families, offering access to approximately 2,000 travel products and 14 specially designed corporate routes, including rail-themed tours through Hualien, Taitung, Alishan, and Pingtung. This move aligns with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications' campaign to boost domestic tourism through corporate engagement.
