Phân bón Cà Mau allocates 800 billion VND to social welfare

Phân bón Cà Mau (PVCFC), a member of Petrovietnam, has allocated over 800 billion VND toward social welfare programs across Vietnam over the past 15 years. These initiatives focus on housing, education, infrastructure, disaster response, and livelihood recovery.

In terms of housing support, the company has committed 12 billion VND for disadvantaged residents in Yên Bái and 3.3 billion VND for the ‘Great Unity House’ project in Thạnh Xuân, Cần Thơ, during 2025. Looking ahead to 2026, the company plans to allocate 5 billion VND each for housing support in both Sơn La and Cà Mau.

Beyond housing, the company has addressed environmental challenges, such as providing 1,400 water storage tanks to residents in the Mekong Delta during the 2024 drought. Following Typhoon Yagi in 2024, the company implemented technical support and fertilizer distribution across 13 provinces to assist farmers in restoring production.
