Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple begins public open house

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has commenced an open house for the Phnom Penh Cambodia Temple. The public is invited to tour the facility from August 15 through August 22, excluding Sundays.

On August 12, a media day was held featuring Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. The event was attended by approximately 800 Cambodian leaders and Church members, including representatives from government, diplomacy, business, and education. Minister Chay Borin, representing Prime Minister Hun Manet, attended the ceremony and praised the temple's architecture as a reflection of religious freedom and political stability in Cambodia.

The temple is scheduled for official dedication by Elder Patrick Kearon on August 30.
