Phoebe Bridgers reunites with boygenius for A24 performance

Phoebe Bridgers has reunited with boygenius bandmates Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus for an acoustic performance at New York’s historic Cherry Lane Theatre. The three-song set was filmed as part of the ‘Sound Check’ digital video series produced by A24.

The performance, directed by Lance Oppenheim, features Bridgers performing ‘On Video’—a song she wrote for the film ‘Primetime’—followed by acoustic renditions of ‘Haunted’ and ‘Lost Boys’ from her album ‘Lost Weekend’ with Baker and Dacus. This marks the first time the trio has appeared together on camera in nearly three years.

The session was recorded following Bridgers’ recent residency at the Barclays Center. The Cherry Lane Theatre is currently owned and operated by A24, which also produced the film ‘Primetime’ in which Bridgers has a supporting role.
