Phoenix Beverages appoints Claire Baissac as General Manager

Phoenix Beverages Limited (PhoenixBev) has announced the appointment of Claire Baissac as General Manager for Mauritius, effective October 1, 2026. In this role, Baissac will oversee the group’s operations across Mauritius and Rodrigues, reporting directly to Group CEO Bernard Theys.

This appointment is part of a broader organizational restructuring, which includes the establishment of a new Group Office designed to support the company’s continued growth and coordinate activities across various markets.

Baissac brings a background in law and strategic development to the position. She holds a Master’s in Business Law from Paris and an LL.M. in Banking and Financial Law from Queen Mary University of London. Her previous professional experience includes nearly a decade at Saint-Gobain and a recent role as Head of Strategic Projects and Development at the IBL Group.
