Phoenix Cyclops to join MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls on November 2
Arc System Works has announced that Phoenix Cyclops will join the roster of MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls on November 2. This character serves as the first DLC installment included in the game's Year 1 Pass.
Voiced by Ray Chase, Phoenix Cyclops features a combat style that integrates Optic Blast attacks with the power of the Phoenix Force. The character includes a unique mechanic where players can collect Solar Shards to trigger a Dark Phoenix form, which provides a temporary attack boost at the cost of the character's health. Producer Takeshi Yamanaka described the character as an all-rounder capable of both long-range and close-range combat.
Alongside the character release, the 'Classic' and 'Legacy' costumes for Cyclops will be made available. Additionally, PlayStation Plus members are eligible for a three-hour trial of the game, and the title will be available in an Ultimate Edition at a discounted price.
