Phoenix Welcomes 2026 U.S. Gymnastics Championships and USA Gymnastics Trade Show

The 2026 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships will be held in downtown Phoenix from August 6‑9, with competitions at the Mortgage Matchup Center. More than 100 elite male and female gymnasts, including Olympic medalists Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, Frederick Richard and Stephen Nedoroscik, will vie for national titles and spots on the U.S. National Team. The event also serves as a qualifier for the 2026 Artistic World Championships in Rotterdam.

Simultaneously, the USA Gymnastics National Congress & Trade Show will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center, drawing coaches, officials, and industry professionals. Organizers expect thousands of athletes, families, and fans, providing a significant boost to downtown hotels, restaurants, and local businesses, with city officials urging use of light‑rail and advance parking reservations to manage traffic.

The championships reinforce Phoenix’s growing reputation as a host city for major sporting events, following recent NCAA Final Fours, WNBA All‑Star Weekend and Super Bowl LVII.
