Phoenixx releases Touhou: Lost Branch of Legend for Nintendo Switch

Phoenixx has released the Touhou Project fan-made deck-building roguelike card game, ‘Touhou: Lost Branch of Legend’, for the Nintendo Switch as of August 27, 2026. The title is a port and modification of the previously successful Steam version, ‘Touhou Kouyouya ~ Lost Branch of Legend’.

Developed by Alioth Studio, the game features over 450 types of cards and more than 100 enhancement items. Players can choose from five characters, including Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame, each offering two distinct combat styles. The narrative follows an investigation into the theft of a precious treasure during an exhibition held by the moon princess, Kaguya Houraisan.

To celebrate the launch, a 20% discount sale is being held from August 27 through September 9, 2026. Additionally, a playable demo and promotional campaign will be held at the ‘Atsumare Touhou Station in Chichibu’ event on August 29.
