Phorest and Partou UK achieve B Corp certification

Phorest, a salon and spa management software company, has achieved B Corp certification. Administered by the non-profit B Lab, the certification evaluates companies on governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. Founded in Dublin by CEO Ronan Perceval, Phorest supports approximately 12,000 businesses and 160,000 beauty professionals globally. The company reported an impact score of 89, highlighting initiatives such as the Phorest Forest and significant charitable donations.

In the United Kingdom, nursery provider Partou UK has also secured B Corp status. Operating over 100 day nursery settings, the group met standards for social and environmental performance and transparency. Co-managing director Kirsty Jackson noted that the assessment validated the company’s governance and people policies, including equality, inclusion, and menopause support. Partou UK joins a global community of approximately 10,300 certified B Corps.
