Photo Exhibitions Open Across Croatia Showcasing Local History and Punk Culture

An exhibition titled “100 godina Perivoja Zrinski” has been installed in the park of Čakovci, featuring historic photographs that trace the development of the green space over a century, including early maps and images of the former lake. The project is organized by local community group Č & Č and invites visitors to walk the park trails and view the displays.

Separately, the Makina Gallery in Zagreb opened the show “The Taste of the Pit,” a collection of analog and digital photographs by Pavle Kocanjer (also known as Vjetroslav Prdinski). The images capture the raw energy of punk and hardcore concerts in venues such as Medika and Močvara, as well as scenes from Rijeka and Pula, and form part of the Montepa Festival program.
