Photography events held across Argentina

Various photography-focused cultural events are taking place in Argentina. In Buenos Aires, photographer Gaby Messina will lead a guided tour of her exhibition, ‘Maestros: El bosque y el árbol’, at the Museo de Arte Popular Quinquela Martín on September 26. The project features portraits and audiovisual records of 112 Argentine artists over the age of 65, including figures such as Luis Felipe Noé, Marta Minujín, Gyula Kosice, and Julio Le Parc.

Simultaneously, the 4th Misiones Photographers Encounter is being held in Aristóbulo del Valle. Organized by Malena Oudin and Rulo Bregagnolo, the free event brings together professionals, students, and enthusiasts. The program covers diverse topics including photojournalism, cyanotype, fashion photography, light painting, and the intersection of photography and artificial intelligence.
