Photography exhibitions announced in Chihuahua and Monterrey
The Cumbre de la Imagen Chihuahua 2026 exhibition will feature 50 selected photographs at the La Rodadora Interactive Space in Ciudad Juárez. The collection, part of Chihuahua’s first Photography Biennial, was chosen from over 700 submissions by more than 140 artists. The works showcase the state’s landscapes, architecture, traditions, and daily life. The exhibition will remain open to the public for three months, with winners being announced on October 22.
In Monterrey, the Museo del Palacio has launched the “Lo que quiero que no cambie” contest. This competition combines photography and urban chronicles to create a contemporary portrait of the city in celebration of Monterrey’s 430th anniversary. Participants are invited to document meaningful local spaces, markets, and daily scenes, accompanied by a short written testimony. Registration for the contest is open from October 20 to December 19, 2026.
