Photography festivals held in Warsaw and Chełm

The Fotoforma Festival is scheduled to take place on October 5 and 6, 2026, at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. The fourth edition of the event will feature a diverse program covering documentary, street, portrait, and landscape photography, as well as film and new technologies like AI. Beyond artistic creation, the festival will focus on the business aspects of the industry, including brand building, marketing, and sales.

Participants can engage in Masterclass workshops, photo walks, 1:1 consultations, and exhibitions. The event will host dozens of creators, including Tomasz Tomaszewski and Wojciech Grzędziński, and provides a space for attendees to test photo and video equipment from various manufacturers and distributors.

In Chełm, the second edition of the ‘Światłoczułe opowieści’ (Light-sensitive stories) festival recently concluded. The event emphasized mindfulness through various exhibitions and meetings. Highlights included a cyanotype exhibition by young creators from the Paparazzi Kids and Paparazzi groups, and an evening dedicated to the memory of local photographer and animator Grzegorz Chwesiuk.
