Phramongkutklao Hospital and CPF launch medical equipment fundraiser

Phramongkutklao Hospital and Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF) have launched a joint fundraising initiative titled ‘Every Purchase is the Power of Giving’. Running from August 25 to 27, 2026, the event invites the public to purchase quality food products at special prices, with proceeds after expenses donated to purchase medical equipment.

The funds are specifically designated for the Orthopedic Center at Phramongkutklao Hospital. Major General Narong Bhakdisupaphol, Director of the hospital, noted that as Thailand transitions into a complete aging society, specialized care for bone and joint diseases becomes increasingly critical for maintaining quality of life.

The hospital's orthopedic center currently manages approximately 450–500 patients daily across 24 examination rooms, 90 inpatient beds, and 4 operating rooms. The initiative aims to enhance the center's capacity through improved medical and rehabilitation equipment to better serve various patient groups.
