Phu Nhuan Jewelry (PNJ) Schedules Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting for October 2026

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) announced an extraordinary shareholders meeting to be held in October 2026, with the registration deadline for attendees set for 25 August 2026. The meeting will consider adjustments to the 2026 business plan and other matters within the shareholders' authority.

The decision follows PNJ’s Q2 2026 financial report, which showed net revenue of about VND 8,500 billion, a 12 % increase year‑on‑year, but a post‑tax loss of VND 283 billion, reversing a profit of VND 430 billion in the same period last year. The loss was driven by a lower gross margin as sales of 24K gold, a low‑margin product, grew relative to jewelry retail. Operating costs fell 12 % on the gold side, while administrative expenses rose sharply due to a VND 865.5 billion provision for post‑period diamond buy‑back obligations.

For the first half of the year, PNJ recorded revenue of VND 25,700 billion and after‑tax profit of VND 1,184 billion, up 49 % and 6 % respectively. Total assets exceeded VND 21,000 billion, with cash and cash equivalents near VND 3,400 billion.
