Phu Quoc Tourism operator reports 6,200 billion VND in accumulated losses

Phu Quoc Tourism Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, the operator of Casino Corona Phu Quoc, reported continued losses for the first half of 2026. According to data from the HNX, the company recorded a post-tax loss of 211 billion VND during this period, which is a reduction from the 564 billion VND loss reported in the same period last year.

As of June 30, 2026, the company's accumulated losses reached nearly 6,200 billion VND, an increase of over 689 billion VND compared to the previous period. While equity increased significantly to over 3,807 billion VND, total liabilities rose sharply by nearly 11,000 billion VND, exceeding 51,600 billion VND.

Corporate bond debt stands at 7,484 billion VND, equivalent to 1.98 times the company's equity. The company operates various brands, including zoos, entertainment complexes, and resorts, and manages a casino project that serves foreigners, overseas Vietnamese, and a pilot program for local residents.
