Phu Tho authorities address road construction and quality concerns
Authorities in Phu Tho province are responding to local reports regarding road construction delays and poor infrastructure quality. In Van Xuan and Dao Xa communes, residents reported that construction on route 315C has caused significant travel difficulties and safety risks. Large piles of construction stones left on the roadway have obstructed traffic, with some vehicles unable to pass and motorcyclists facing increased accident risks at night.
The Phu Tho Department of Construction's Project Management Board attributed the delays to machinery malfunctions. Following public feedback, the construction firm, Phu Anh Company, has mobilized additional personnel and equipment to accelerate progress.
In a separate matter, residents of Hung Viet commune have raised concerns over the quality of a rural concrete road completed just over a year ago. Locals claim the surface is crumbling, shedding sand daily, and is fragile enough to be broken by hand. Local officials stated they will review archived records and may hire consultants to assess the structural integrity of the road.
