Phu Tho focuses on resource distribution for ethnic minority development

In Phu Tho province, authorities are focusing on the effective implementation of Government Program 1719, which aims to promote socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2021–2030 period.

Following administrative restructuring and the transition to a two-level local government model, there is an increased emphasis on ensuring resources reach the correct recipients and meet actual needs. The program includes 10 projects and 36 component contents targeting essential requirements such as housing, production land, water, transportation, education, and vocational training. Currently, 100% of ethnic minority communes in the province have road access to their centers.
