Phu Tho officials hold dialogue to resolve business challenges

Phu Tho provincial authorities held a dialogue session on September 23, 2026, to address challenges faced by approximately 150 businesses and investors operating in the province.

Tran Duy Dong, Chairman of the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, reported that the province's socio-economic situation remained stable during the first eight months of 2026, noting an increase in foreign direct investment (FDI). While many previous business recommendations had been resolved, the Chairman acknowledged that some issues remain unaddressed or are being handled too slowly.

Chairman Dong emphasized a proactive approach, instructing local departments and agencies to be present wherever businesses encounter difficulties. He stated that matters within their authority must be resolved immediately, while those exceeding their jurisdiction should be reported promptly for solutions. He further stressed that officials must not avoid responsibility or cause businesses to undergo repetitive administrative processes.
