Phu Tho police arrest man for abusing two children

Phu Tho Provincial Police have arrested and prosecuted T. V. C, a 37-year-old resident of Xuan Hoa ward, for the sexual abuse of two minors.

The incident occurred on the evening of September 25 during Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations. Authorities report that C utilized poorly lit areas to approach two children, born in 2012 and 2013, to commit the acts.

Following an investigation and the collection of evidence, police formally initiated criminal proceedings under Clause 2, Article 146 of the Penal Code. The suspect is currently in temporary detention as the investigation continues. Local authorities have issued warnings to parents and schools to increase supervision and teach children self-protection skills during public festivals.
