Phu Tho prepares monument inauguration at Hung Kings Temple

Phu Tho province is preparing for the inauguration of the “Ho Chi Minh with the Festival of the Nation” monument at the Hung Kings Temple historical site. The event is part of the 72nd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to the temple. Provincial Chairman Tran Duy Dong has directed relevant departments to accelerate construction and ensure the quality of the upcoming political and cultural celebrations scheduled for 2026.

In a related activity at the same historical site, the Vietnam U20 national football team held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings. Led by head coach Yutaka Ikeuchi, the players visited Kinh Thien Palace on Nghia Linh Mountain to honor national ancestors before beginning training in Phu Tho for the 2027 AFC U20 Asian Cup qualifiers.
