Phu Tho prioritizes land clearance for major infrastructure projects

Phu Tho province is prioritizing land clearance to unlock investment resources for various large-scale projects. With approximately 5,445 hectares of land required for recovery, addressing issues related to compensation, resettlement, and the creation of clean land funds has become an urgent task.

On the National Highway 2 project (Vinh Yen - Viet Tri section), which has a total investment of over 1,258 billion VND, land handover has reached 96.94%. However, incomplete handover at certain locations has prevented continuous construction, forcing contractors to work in fragmented sections.

In contrast, the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway project is seeing more synchronized progress, as most land has been handed over across the 34 km route, which includes a 31.9 km stretch through Phu Tho.
