Phu Tho Province promotes tea and culture in Greece

A delegation from Phu Tho Province, led by Bui Duc Hinh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited Greece to promote local products and explore cooperation opportunities. A central part of the mission involved participating in the Athens Tea and Coffee Festival, the largest event of its kind in Greece, to showcase Phu Tho tea.

During a meeting with Pham Thi Thu Huong, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece, discussions focused on leveraging bilateral relations to expand cooperation in sectors such as logistics, education, and UNESCO-related cultural heritage preservation. The Ambassador emphasized the Embassy's role in connecting local businesses and provinces with Greek counterparts and UNESCO clubs.

Phu Tho, a major tea-producing region in Vietnam, is also looking to expand the export of other agricultural products, including jackfruit, pomelo, banana, and longan. The provincial delegation expressed intent to study potential cooperation areas and coordinate with the Embassy to establish connections with Greek partners.
