Phu Tho Province redistributes leadership duties after Vice Chairman arrest

Phu Tho Province Chairman Tran Duy Dong has redistributed the responsibilities of Vice Chairman Nguyen Huy Ngoc following the latter's arrest and prosecution. Nguyen Huy Ngoc was detained in connection with an investigation involving Viet My Medical Investment JSC.

The duties previously held by Nguyen Huy Ngoc have been divided among three other Vice Chairmen. Vu Viet Van will oversee the management of 39 projects requiring special mechanisms. Phung Thi Kim Nga has been assigned to handle inspections, examinations, and the resolution of complaints and denunciations. Nguyen Khac Hieu will manage remaining sectors, including healthcare, population, social insurance, science, technology, and digital transformation.

Following the announcement from the Ministry of Public Security, Chairman Tran Duy Dong also met with the Phu Tho Provincial General Hospital to encourage medical staff and stabilize operations.
