Vietnamese singers Phuong My Chi and Jack are experiencing a notable competitive period in the music market following the simultaneous release of their respective albums.

Phuong My Chi, working with production team DTAP, has focused on her signature style of blending traditional folk elements with modern production. Her project, ‘Dan choi dan ca’, includes the music video ‘Thien duong voi nguoi thuong’, which explores Khmer culture in the Mekong Delta. The video achieved significant success, accumulating over 22 million views on YouTube and approaching 1.5 million streams on Spotify before its momentum slowed.

Jack has returned to the industry with the album ‘Tam thai tu’ following a nine-month hiatus. Unlike Phuong My Chi’s traditional focus, Jack is experimenting with new musical genres while maintaining his characteristic vocal style. His comeback has seen strong digital performance, with music videos such as ‘Hoa trong da’ and audio tracks like ‘Luu nien’ and ‘Nguoi dung’ driving high engagement and reclaiming top positions on YouTube trending charts.
