Physical AI advances with new household and agricultural robots
Developments in Physical AI are expanding from digital intelligence into specialized hardware for domestic and agricultural use.
Weave Robotics has introduced Isaac 1, a mobile household robot designed to assist with chores such as folding laundry and organizing homes. The robot features two multi-jointed arms and a fabric exterior for a softer aesthetic. It is capable of autonomous movement and can be scheduled via an app. The company plans to begin deliveries in California this fall, with a goal to expand across the United States by 2027. Pricing options include a $7,999 purchase price or a monthly subscription model of $449.
In the agricultural sector, Daedong has launched a Level 4 autonomous AI tractor. Unlike traditional GPS-based machinery, this tractor utilizes a vision-based system with six cameras to provide 360-degree environmental awareness, allowing it to recognize obstacles and terrain without LiDAR. The technology supports remote control via smartphone and receives over-the-air software updates. Daedong aims to introduce these autonomous solutions to North American and European markets starting next year.
