Physicist Sabine Hossenfelder claims extraterrestrials may monitor Earth from the Moon

German theoretical physicist and quantum gravity expert Sabine Hossenfelder has proposed that extraterrestrial civilizations may be monitoring humanity from the Moon. Hossenfelder, who has served as a consultant for NASA, suggests that the Moon could serve as a strategic location for autonomous robotic probes to observe Earth.

Her hypothesis is based on declassified communications and observations from the Apollo program. She cites reports from Apollo 12 astronaut Alan Bean, who in November 1969 described bright lights ascending from the lunar surface, stating, ‘It looks like these things are moving away from the Moon. They are really leaving here and heading straight for the stars.’ Additionally, the Apollo 11 crew reported seeing an unidentified object and intense light flashes during their landing in July 1969.

Hossenfelder also points to more recent observations of lunar anomalies, including footage from 2007 by Alberto Mayer and 2020 recordings by Jean-Michel Tenac, to support the possibility of advanced technology or artifacts existing on the lunar surface.
