Bill Skarsgård to star in Hideo Kojima’s Physint

Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions have revealed key details regarding the upcoming action-espionage game, Physint. At the Tokyo Game Show, the studio announced that actor Bill Skarsgård will take the lead role. The international cast also includes Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe.

A new promotional poster for the title features the tagline, “The Next Cold War Begins,” hinting at a narrative centered on international espionage and political conflict.

The project has undergone a significant shift in publishing strategy. Originally intended as a PlayStation exclusive, Sony decided to step away from the project, leading Kojima Productions to partner with Xbox. Regarding the possibility of a multi-platform release on PlayStation, Kojima noted that the final decision rests with Microsoft, observing that Xbox’s recent strategy involves bringing titles to a wider audience across various platforms.
