Pia Babnik finishes 14th at PIF Championship in London

Slovenian golfer Pia Babnik secured 14th place at the PIF Championship in London, part of the European Tour. The tournament featured a total prize pool of €1.7 million. Babnik earned approximately €27,000 for her performance, finishing with a total of 283 strokes.

The winner of the tournament was Canadian golfer Anna Huang, who took home €225,000. Babnik finished 13 strokes behind Huang. Following this performance, Babnik currently holds eighth place in the overall European Tour rankings, keeping her in contention for a top-ten finish which would grant an invitation to the final qualifying round for the 2027 LPGA Tour.

Babnik's ranking on the world stage is expected to rise to approximately 160th. Her upcoming schedule includes a break for training in Ljubljana, followed by tournaments in Ireland, Spain, and Italy.
