Pia Pounds expands international presence with North American tour

Ugandan singer Pia Pounds is currently conducting a tour in the United States titled ‘Uganda to the World’. The tour includes scheduled performances in cities such as Boston, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, Dallas, and California. As part of her international engagements, she also represented Uganda at New York City Fashion Week at Gotham Hall.

Pounds has described her relocation to North America as a pivotal move that helped her overcome a twenty-four-month period of creative stagnation and writer’s block. By establishing a new routine and learning new musical instruments, she has regained her creative momentum. The artist confirmed that she is working on an upcoming studio album featuring international-standard sound engineering.

Following her time in the United States, Pounds plans to travel to Europe before returning to Uganda for concerts during the December festive season.
