Piła to host ‘Iskry Niepodległej’ mobile history exhibition
The mobile multimedia exhibition ‘Iskry Niepodległej’ (Sparks of Independence) will be held in Piła near the Aquapark from October 1 to 4. Organized by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and funded by the state budget through the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the project aims to present Polish history through modern, engaging methods.
Instead of traditional displays, the exhibition utilizes images, sound, animations, and multimedia to tell the stories of influential figures. Featured individuals include scientist Jan Czochralski, Irena Sendlerowa, mountaineer Wanda Rutkiewicz, Mieczysław Bekker, and Marek Kamiński. The event is free to the public and is designed to inspire younger audiences and families by presenting history as an immersive experience rather than a collection of dates.
