Piacenza approves new skatepark project at Arena Daturi
The Municipality of Piacenza has technically approved the feasibility project for a new skatepark at Arena Daturi. The project has an overall economic framework of 300,000 euros, with approximately 205,000 euros allocated specifically for construction works.
Located on via Risorgimento near Palazzo Farnese, the 670-square-meter facility will feature a mixed configuration of Street and Park disciplines. The track will be constructed from cast-in-place reinforced concrete and will include elements such as quarters, banks, flatbars, and ledges to accommodate various skill levels.
Mayor Katia Tarasconi noted that the project responds to requests from young residents and aims to provide a modern, safe, and social space for the city. The facility is designed to meet Skate Italia regulations for regional level standards and will offer free access, including bicycle parking stalls. The project has already received favorable opinion from the Superintendency.
