Piacenza to host major cultural festivals in September

Piacenza is set to host two significant cultural events in September. The fifth edition of Femme Fest will take place from September 10 to 13, featuring a program of music, workshops, and discussions. The festival focuses on marginalized themes, including the representation of women with disabilities and neurodivergence, female labor, sexual education, and independent publishing.

Additionally, the fourth edition of the Festival del Pensare contemporaneo will run from September 24 to 27. Centered on the theme ‘Attraversiamo. Lasciare/Approdare’, the festival will host over 60 meetings with more than 130 guests from fields such as art, journalism, philosophy, and literature. This event supports Piacenza’s candidacy to become a European Capital of Culture in 2033.
