Piaget and Apple Hermès unveil new luxury timepieces

Piaget has introduced a new ultra-thin 18K white gold blue minute repeater from the Polo collection. The timepiece features a self-developed 1290P ultra-thin movement housed in a 9.3mm case. The watch produces a chime of up to 64 decibels, utilizing a fifth-interval melody. Due to the intensive manual craftsmanship required, only five pieces of the standard model will be released globally this year. A high-jewelry version is also available, featuring a bezel set with rectangular-cut sapphires and diamond-accented lugs.

Apple and Hermès have unveiled new flagship models, including the Apple Watch Hermès Series 12 and the Ultra 4. The Series 12 features a titanium case and a new ‘Radiant Gold’ color option, paired with specialized Hermès leather and knit straps. The Ultra 4 is designed for extreme outdoor use, featuring a 49mm titanium case, sapphire crystal, and 100-meter water resistance. The Ultra 4 Hermès edition includes ‘Fathom & Wonder’ gradient blue watch faces and a Grand H titanium link bracelet. Both models include advanced health tracking features and are expected to go on sale starting September 18.
