Piaget unveils ultra-thin Polo Minute Repeater

Piaget has introduced the Polo Minute Repeater, a white gold timepiece that combines sports design with haute horology. The watch features an ultra-thin case measuring 9.3mm in thickness and a diameter of 48mm.

At its core is the in-house automatic caliber 1290P, a 4.8mm-slim movement utilizing a micro-rotor and highly miniaturized components, including gears only 0.12mm thick. The movement produces a chime reaching 64 decibels, allowing it to be heard without holding the watch directly to the ear.

The collection includes two distinct versions: a standard edition with a blue soleillé guilloché textured dial and a partially openworked design, and an haute jewellery edition. The jewellery version features a fully openworked dial and is adorned with blue baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel and white brilliant-cut diamonds on the lugs.
