Pianese defeats Montevarchi 2-0 in pre‑season friendly

In the penultimate pre‑season test, Serie D side Pianese beat A.C. Montevarchi 2‑0. The goals were scored by Bellini from the penalty spot in the 47th minute and by Ianesi in the 26th minute of the second half.

Coach Massimo Zanchetta rotated his squad, bringing on Masetti, Bertini, Proietto, Negri and Ianesi. The match saw nine corners for Pianese versus two for Montevarchi and was officiated by referee Nicola Mascelloni.
