Pianist Kim Jun-hee to perform charity concert in Bupyeong

Pianist Kim Jun-hee will perform a charity concert titled ‘Chopin Omakase’ on October 7 at the Bupyeong Art Center Haenuri Theater. The event is co-hosted by the Incheon Art Show Organizing Committee and the Bupyeong-gu Cultural Foundation to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Bupyeong-gu Cultural Foundation Supporters' Night and to preview the Incheon Art Show 2026.

The performance features an 80-minute selection of Chopin’s piano works, curated by Kim based on the season, venue, and inspiration. The program aims to integrate visual arts by drawing connections to the French Romantic painter Eugène Delacroix, who historically interacted with Chopin.

Admission to the concert is free for citizens aged elementary school and above, with reservations available through the Bupyeong-gu Cultural Foundation website. Following the performance, the event will include a prize drawing and an art auction, with a portion of the auction proceeds designated to support local young artists.
