Pianists Samuele Cuicchio and Nicolas Woolls perform in Cetona

Pianists Samuele Cuicchio and Nicolas Woolls performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor at the Sala Ss. Annunziata in Cetona. The performance featured a reduction for two pianos, with Cuicchio playing the solo part on a grand piano and Woolls performing the orchestral part on an upright piano.

The event was promoted by the Fondazione Balestrieri in collaboration with the Municipality of Cetona. Prior to the main concerto, Woolls performed works by Federico Mompou and Sergei Prokofiev. The concert highlights the local musical education provided by the Cetona Music School, an annex of the Henze Music Institute of Montepulciano.
