Piano aux Jacobins festival returns to Toulouse for 47th edition

The 47th edition of the Piano aux Jacobins festival is scheduled to take place at the Jacobins cloister in Toulouse from September 8 to 30, 2026. The program features a diverse lineup ranging from classical masters to Cuban jazz.

Featured performers include Cuban jazz virtuoso Karla Martinez, classical pianists Javier Perianes and Pierre-Laurent Aimard, and 23-year-old Malaysian pianist Magdalene Ho, a winner of the 2023 Clara Haskil International Piano Competition. The festival also includes appearances by conductor and soloist Jean-François Heisser.

Founded in 1980 by Catherine d'Argoubet and Paul-Arnaud Péjouan, the festival has established an international reputation, previously hosting editions in China.
